What does Vawkr keep, and what is different?

Vawkr keeps the part of Faceflow that was hardest to find elsewhere: real video chat that runs in the browser, on any device, for free.

What stays the same

What changes

• Strangers only. There is no friend list, no contacts and no way to call someone you know.
• One-on-one only. Every conversation is 1 on 1. There are no group calls and no rooms.
• Random by design. You do not pick a person; you answer three questions and get matched.

That last point has history. Vawkr itself started out years ago as a group video chat site with public rooms, and today it is one-on-one random video chat only. Group chat was the crowded part; one-on-one was the part people stayed for. If what you liked about Faceflow was meeting strangers on cam, that is the whole site.

Is Vawkr safe?

A stranger-only site needs stronger tools than a friends-only one, and this is where Vawkr differs most from what Faceflow offered.

• Nothing is recorded or stored. The video travels between the two browsers, directly where the connection allows, and otherwise through an encrypted relay that keeps nothing.
• One tap to report. The flag above the other person's video opens a report. Pick a reason and the connection ends immediately, a still frame goes to human moderators, and Block is on by default so you are never paired with that person again.
• Bans for repeat offenders.
• 18+ only, with an age confirmation before the chat.

Two honest limits. With a direct connection the other person may see your IP address, and anything on your screen can be recorded on their end. Treat every conversation as public: show what you would show a stranger, keep personal details out of the text box, and use Next the moment something feels off.
