About Vawkr

Vawkr is one-on-one random video chat. You open the page, answer three questions, turn on your camera, and you are face to face with a stranger. Next brings the next one.

The domain has a history. Vawkr started out as a group video chat site with public rooms, back when that was the way people met on camera. Rooms have a problem, though: thirty people talking past each other, and nobody really talking to you. So the new Vawkr keeps the part that mattered, meeting a stranger on video in seconds, and drops the room. One person at a time, on any phone or laptop, with nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.

There is no payment system on the site. Video goes between you and the person you are matched with and is never recorded or stored by us. If someone is out of line, one tap reports and blocks them. Vawkr is for adults only.
